The CARE event will:
Showcase the many agencies that contribute to our community’s safety
Share with the public what agencies do, when and how they are deployed, and where to get more information (Q&A sheet)
Provide a “Langley - Who to Call” quick reference sheet with agencies and numbers to phone
Offer Emergency Preparedness tips for family, neighbourhoods, and businesses
Increase public awareness of how to get involved with community safety
Provide a chance to enter a draw for a $500 gift certificate for a Whistler get-away
Encourage participation through a Passport Challenge – participants who visit every agency will be entered into a draw for a family of four emergency kit, valued at $200

Every agency that is participating has an educational message and some agencies will be conducting demonstrations.  This information will be shared once compiled – See you there!
